A note about published performance figures...
Be aware that every antenna manufacturer does not use the same testing methods to measure antenna performance. Since there are no enforecable industry standards, comparing performance data from different manufacturers can be very misleading. Antennacraft uses very time-consuming, but honest, test methods. If you find a manufacturer which consistently outperforms all others, don't be fooled. A good rule of thumb is that an antenna of comparable size and configuration supplied by different manufacturers will likely give similar performance.

About Digital Reception
You may have already found that coverage areas for TV broadcasts have changed slightly. If you are in a deep fringe area, this can especially be difficult to receive the same signal you had previously. Be prepared to purchase the next size bigger antenna model and make sure you don't underestimate your reception requirements. For each antenna model we have included mileage ranges. Range is based on optimum conditions over flat, open terrain. The transmitting antenna and receiving antenna's height and placement and power determines overall reception results. Installation of a pre-amplifier at the antenna can improve reception quality at far distances and also where there are long cable runs or multiple TV sets connected.
